But the figurative rabbit hole begins with Lewis Carroll’s 1865 classic, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. In its opening chapter, “Down the Rabbit-Hole,” Alice follows the White Rabbit into his burrow, which transports her to the strange, surreal, and nonsensical world of Wonderland.

Ownself Make Chef menus begin typically with me going down a rabbithole, often interesting, sometimes bewildering, and always delicious. With the Ownself Make Chef Rabbithole series I will be doing more collaborative 4 hands dinners, as well as exploring various themes that intrigue me.

August sees the return of the Dry Aged RabbitHole but with a twist – we will be using the fat of that particular animal to enrobe the dry-aged meats. We also will be dry ageing A4 Wagyu for 45 days!

And we will be going back in time with a Wok & Barrel + Make Mee Great Again dinner – for TWO nights only, 27 October & 28 October 2023

We will be doing the dinners in a more intimate setting and limited sessions (4 dinners) a month, 158 per pax.

Ps. This is a “public” seated dinner, so dinner will proceed on time as we have many courses to cover (so please come hungry🙂 and we are cool with takeaway boxes for those with smaller appetites).
